Russian raindeer
We have recently photographed some of our Reindeer hides for you to individually select in the same way as you do with the cowhides. These are Russian Best Quality Spotted Reindeer Hides.
The markings on these Reindeer hides are really stunning and unusual compared to the standard shades that you may be used to. Each skin is unique with luxuriously soft fur.
Reindeer herders originate from the Sami people, nomadic tribes travelling the fells of Sweden, Norway and spreading to Finland in rhythm with the seasons. The Reindeer provide meat, milk and raw materials for clothes and tools.

Springbok hides
We have recently taken in a new delivery of our Springbok Hides.
The Springbok are a graceful strikingly marked antelope of the gazelle family, native to the open plains of Southern Africa.
The Springbok is the national animal of South Africa.
Springbok have been an important part of life to the Karoo people for many generations, as a source of food and materials.
The coat is pale to rich cinnamon brown with extensive areas of white including the head, belly and backs of legs. A heavy black side stripe and narrow cheek stripe contrast with the white markings.
These hides are ideal for use as a rug particularly in smaller spaces and also look great draped over furniture.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Use the soft bristle brush attachment on your vacuum, going with the grain of the hair, do not push the hair upwards. You can also take the hide outdoors and give a gentle shake.
For any spills, take a damp cloth and using a small amount of mild soap gently wipe in the direction of the hair grain. Do not get the hide too wet. Once you have removed the spill, use a clean damp cloth to gently remove any excess soap. Put an object underneath the area of the spill to allow for drying. Not suitable for machine or dry cleaning.
New XL & XXL Cowhide Images Added

We have been busy photographing more of our popular natural cowhide rugs and there are now more for you to select in the XL and XXL sizes.
The XL cowhides are all 4.00 – 4.49 square meters and the XXL cowhides are all 4.50-4.99 square meters. This batch of cowhides has also been measured to help you to select the perfect cowhides for your customers’ needs.
Cowhide rugs add texture and colour to any interior. Hides of this very large size can seem a little daunting, however, they can be easily displayed with furniture partially over the hide if space is a little tight.
As with all of our cowhides, they have been hand selected by Hanlin to ensure they are of a high quality and with stunning natural markings. The hides in this particular batch are from the ‘Assorted’, ‘Brown & White, ‘Black & White’ and ‘Exotic White Belly and Spine’ ranges, so please don’t forget to check these varieties out when ordering.
Cowhides of this size are not just great to use as a rug. The bigger sizes are ideal if you are looking to use natural cowhides for upholstering other furniture such as footstools, headboards or chairs. Cowhide is naturally hard wearing and the range of colours available mean that you have the choice to make pieces with subtle shades to blend in with existing colour schemes, or go for cowhides with more striking markings to make more of an impact on the room.
